Well taken goal by Pic, Scott unlucky not to score another 2nite...

Let's hope we can take this into the game on Saturday, there's nothing more than I'd like to stick 2 fingers up at the tosser Spurs fans at work that have been giving me grief this season.

in regards to piq's goal i cannot remember the last time we have scored in that manner, rounding the keeper and into an open net

Why can't Cole score anymore, he should have done better with that chance. :?

Stech made a great save with not long left and Cole really should've buried his chance late on.
You could engrave that on his epitaph!

I just caught them, great save from Stech, but Cole was far too casual with his finish. On the performance tonight, I suspect Obinna and Piquionne would have buried it.

Feel a lot more comfortable about Stech being our reserve keeper now.

Great result!!! It might be the cup but this will do wonders for confidence. Saw the goals on SSN and the second was a great little move.

Bring on the Spuds!!!

I'd rather get an "easier" home draw and go through to the next round with less hassle.

Difficult to say, would either of them have shrugged off the last defender as easily as Cole did?

I know Cole went through a purple patch under Zola.....but, then what?

Let's face it, he's a useful player to have around, especially defending against set pieces, but, he ain't much cop at doing what he's primarily there for is he?

Benni Mac in his prime was three times the player Cole will ever be, if he can pick up where he left off, who knows? We hired him for a reason!

It was only the radio, but is it fair to say that we actually seemed to be fairly comfortable on the ball tonight, throughout the match?

There sounded like the odd occasion in which the defence rode its luck but the match stats suggest we had more shots on target than Sunderland, who, as others have noted, had a full strength set of forward options as starters in the game.

Well done Irons. At last sounds as if we're starting to play with a bit of confidence.

I await the TPP travelling report with interest.
