Fantastic result tonight Listened to entire game on BBC London and our fans were superb and for those that are staying up there, hope you get truly **** faced. Looking forward to watching MOTD (especially Ribena's second goal) and also Brum on Sunday, another win and we can slowly but surely start to move away from the bottom 3. Keane is going to be immense for us I reckon. ****ing Brilliant!!! COYI

I noticed that after the 1st goal (before link went down!) that Keane was quick to get the players focused and concentrating again. I think having him, Bridge, O'Neill helping out will be a huge factor experience wise. It takes a bit more responsibility away from Parker but It really puts Upson to shame. I don't think i've seen a clenched fist or a raised voice from Upson for a long long time.
We needed experience in this window and I think that our signings if fit will make all the difference.
Really want us to smash Brum on Sunday now. No mercy - 3, 4, 5 ......

great result but jesus we like to make life difficult............ not sure i'd wanna rely on wisnton reid too many times. we invited them on far too much second half and Grant should have changed things earlier. but im nit picking. tomkins was immense as was parker. Obinna (not keane) could be the one who makes himself a legend. 3 points and a bit of revenge on sat pls.

Dont think so. I'm pretty sure when he arrived it was said that we had tried to fix a price but Inter wouldnt have it,

Great first half, **** second half. A better team would've punnished us big time in the second half. We invited so much pressure on ourselves it was untrue.

He was solid, not much else - 7/10
Parker back to near his best tonight, thank god!
MotM - James Tomkins. Immense. Getting better with each game.
I genuinely though he was We haven't had someone that can run the flanks properly and pass as well as dribble for 90 minutes on the right side. He's very good on the ball. Tomkins was outstanding. It'd be interesting to see how Da Costa fits into all of this.

I dont think it will be brum we will be battling against relegation with - more like wolves, wigan, west brom and possibly blackpool and newcastle if they dont pick up an out of contract striker. ameobi went off with a fractured cheekbone.

It's obviously been a pattern, but one we've seen out in two consecutive games now. Hopefully with confidence we'll make the last 20-30minutes a little less frantic.

I thought Blackpool were pretty good - especially second-half. Having some quality in the team definitely showed in the confidence of all the team. At least Grant has something to work with now.

Lol at people slagging off Upson...it was a lack of Faubert, Boa Morte that won us this game.

Hell, we need Upson and Gabbs back as soon as possible ! I cant take another night with Reid and Tomkins manning the defence. *Notwithstanding Tomkins frequent immensity !
Otherwise it was a profitable night. Victor Obinna is really coming good, and it was great to see Robbie Keane grab a goal. Further, our new signings in Wayne Bridge and Gray O Neill seem to have settled in nicely !
Lovely to take three points. This also drags Blackpool back towards the dropzone.

tomkins and parker very good the whole game bridge was excellent first half I thought O'Neil was also very good - some very intelligent possesion, distribution and movement - a class above faubert or barrera on that side already
we still look awfully tired 2nd half...we must be the least fit side in the prem....hope that don't cost us in the next two games as both are games we should be looking to win

I love the way people on here assume that once we are up in a game, the other team won't attack. Blackpool were at home and two behind. Of course they will put us under pressure. Yes we got a bit lucky, but you make your luck. The boys defended very well. With guts and discipline. I am a bit worried that Parker is going to implode at some point however.

Green- 6.5
Jacobsen- 7 Tomkins- 9 - Brilliant whole hearted performance Gabbidon- 7 - shame he's injured! Bridge - 7
O'Neil- 7 Parker- 9 Noble - 8 Obinna- 9.5
Piqiuonne- 7- won everything in the air Keane- 8
Kovan and LBM, didn't enough of them. Reid- 6 - genuinely frightened when he plays centre defence

I know this is jumping the gun?? But,it must be clear to see that the REAL reason West Ham have been sh*te this season,is down purely to the quality of players we have in our squad.Just with O'Neil & Keane added to the side,we played some really good stuff(i think we've played decent in the majority of games this season) but Keane gave us a real cutting edge. I know its only one game, but we looked a real side tonight. We've been crying out for a proper goalscorer/finisher for years now...We've been so f**king poor in the final '1/3' for the past 3 seasons. If we started the season with Keane,O'Neill,Ba & Bridge we'd be sitting in the top 8 & comfortable. Anyone gonna join me in saying 'Well done Avram tonight'.??? Played spot on the right side & tactics vs Blackpool All in my opinion
