Interesting that they focused a bit on Hitz. Shows whats been missing for six months.
Re: West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread
I tel you what's been missing, a referee that isn't on the take or is actually qualified to actually referee. Watched the rugby yesterday and with scrums etc it's a harder game to referee and the refs are spot on with the decisions.Chuck D wrote:Interesting that they focused a bit on Hitz. Re: West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread
if that was arsenal or man utd the bbc would be ****ing over it for weeks.aaronhammer wrote:Parkers goal, 11 passes and 26 touches
Goal of the season
watch them ignore it, obviously

Dan
Halsey is a perfectly good referee. He made a few mistakes today granted, but the Tomkins foul on Suarez could of easily been a penalty on another day.
Give it a rest mate.

Watching Gerrard chase his shadow for an hour was a genuine pleasure.focused a bit on Hitz.
Hitz-Noble-Parker - 2 games. In each of those games we've had "ole's" as we've kept the ball for fun.
Ba-Cole-Piq-Obinna - goals, goals,goals......
O'Neil - great engine +brain - really puts Behrami into context.
Enjoyable game - and yep, I had a Liverpool fan next to me - my youngest son - who kept telling me and one of his older brothers how awful Halsey was

Also came into the press conference to wish Avram well for the rest of the season. Nice touch.stubbsy07 wrote:Halsey is a perfectly good referee. He made a few mistakes today granted, but the Tomkins foul on Suarez could of easily been a penalty on another day.
Re: West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread
If that was a penalty (the "foul" was outside the area + it was a Lverpool infringement beforehand too) + we should have had 2 pens. I'm fed up with the "mistakes" that ALWAYS go against us EVERY game.stubbsy07 wrote:Dan

So good referee's can't make mistakes?
Okay mate.
FWIW Halsey is usually a brilliant a referee when I see him ref.
Oh and the Suarez foul was inside the area - so relax.

Thought the Ole's were a little naughty to be honest , but very funny .I certainly think it was better than giving them to Burnley though .bubbles1966 wrote:

And O'Neils contribution relative to Valons - spot on .Thought he worked hard today .Really hard - as did Hitz for 70 minutes ( started to tire a bit) .
I'm sorry to hear of your family troubles though .
Re: West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread
Referees can make mistake I accept that BUT how many point costing decisions have gone against us this season? At least 9 and all this bull **** about it levels itself out dont make me laugh plus we are suing the FA coincidence? Us embarrasing the FA with staying up after the Tevez affair coincidence? No cooruption in football? See when the lights went out against Crystal Palace.stubbsy07 wrote:So good referee's can't make mistakes?

I'm sorry Halsey was useless, and the game of ours he reffed earlier in the season he was as bad.

Just to clarify, are you implying the FA, in response to our sueing them and surviving when they wanted us to go down, have not only instructed all their refereees to be as harsh as possible to us to make sure we go down, without anyone else finding out about it and leaking it to the press, but also WENT BACK IN TIME and turned the floodlights off in an apparently historically meaningless game nearly 15 years ago?Dan1326 wrote:Glad you find cheating acceptable, I can't stand cheating.
You can probably tell why people are posting in response. I don't think it has much to with 'finding cheating acceptable'.

What a great game. In my opinion, bar a ten minute spell, our best performance of the season. Parker and Upson were epic. I'd say Upson Motm in fact, seriously thought he was immense. I always felt like we'd beat them today, a desperately average team.
Dont really understand you referee complainers, we won 3-1, no massive decisions went against us, who cares?

Not at all, I stating that there is corruprtion in football especially with the amount of money flying about also people can be bought. As I said I accept the genuin mistake but not all the mistakes are genuine. Where did I say the FA Instructed all referees, whos to say certain referees have decided to "make mistakes"?Scaloni Is The Messiah wrote:
