Re: West Ham United v Blackburn: Match Thread
Hate to drop Specs and one of Gabbs or Da Costa, but I believe that the only changes which need to be made is the introduction of Parker in the center, and Bridge at left-back. They are common sensical changes.
Boa Morte played well enough today to justify another inclusion. Sears has proven to be a useful player, with bags of ability, keep him there.
Grant's decision to play a virtual 4-4-2 almost paid dividends. It forced City to change its formation twice. I think it should be stuck with.
------------------Green------------------
Jacobson---Da Costa---Tomkins---Bridge
Sears---------Parker------Hitzelsperger-----Boa Morte
----------------Keane------------Ba--------------------------
Boffin,Upson,Gabbidon,Spector,Obinna,Piquionne, Cole.
We have a superb record against these guys !

I can't wait til this game, I shall be there Trevor Brooking lower. I'm going 3-0 Demba Ba with 2 and Parker (if he plays) with 1

Re: West Ham United v Blackburn: Match Thread
High sceptical of UG's threat-starting luck.
My only hope is that Upson is too 'injured' to play for us again. He's been the rot for going on three seasons now. Tompkins and DaCosta can play together, as the second half of Citeh showed.
The early goal will be a big factor in this one, as will the nerves. Crowd needs to get behind the players (even if Upson 'recovers').

Re: West Ham United v Blackburn: Match Thread
The fans need to be patient in this game. Blackburn are going to come here to kick us up in the air and take a point. It will be hard for us to break them down, but I'm confident we will. But if it's 0-0 at half time, we could do without any of the usual idiots, giving them grief and booing.

West Ham 5 - 1 B'Burn.
Cole ---------------Hoylet
Ba (2)
Hitz
Parker
Not only is this an important match for the Hammers, but on a personal level, my flat mate supports Blackburn so we must crush them.

Coming all the way from the USA for this one! It's my first trip to Upton Park and I can't wait!
The way we played today has convinced me we have enough quality (even w/o parker) to get 3 points here. Either way I'll be in the STBL singing until I have no voice.

If we win this match only Upton Girlie is allowed to start the Wigan thread, I hope I have all of your backing on this

You've chosen a good one to come for!
The atmosphere will be tense and we have to play for the win (obviously) so you should see an exciting game.
Hope you enjoy the trip mate.
