If we go down, he will have the opportunity to carve out a regular and important spot for himself in the squad. Would love to see this kid come good. It would be good for the club and for him.

Our only player who wanted the ball in the second half and he's been away for a year, says it all really.

Played a lovely cross field pass to Cole and done a lot of running. Really hope he does well.

Was encouraging the players and was vocal, shows he cares unlike some.

he is a great prospect just a shame he as been held up in his progression due to injury. i think he can be a big player for us next season. admire the fellas balls when he played in that game against millwank after his dads death. the kid is going places and if he does well for us next season, then probaly to another club

Very true Simon, I would also like to think that Stanislas, Nouble, Spence and Edgar will also form the basis of a younger squad.

Totally agree. A younger squad which, with the correct additions and properly led, is capable of doing very, very well in the Championship.

In a funny way, it might be a blessing in disguise that he's been out for most of this season, otherwise he probably would've had loads of clubs after him if we do go down. On the other hand, if he was fit all season, with the influence he would've had on the side, along with the goals he probably would've weighed in with, we may well have been in a better position than we are right now.

The kid is class

One of favorite players, and I see great things for him. Long time since I have seen a midfielder like him at West Ham, always thinking of bursting forward into the box and has nice & neat footwork.

Hope he stays injury free.

Good to have him back. Collsion and Noble should be a pretty decent central two next season.

Fantastic to see the lad back, he's a real class act. His passing is superb. Although it was slightly frustrating to see the best passer in our squad come on and then almost immediately switch to playing numerous long balls, thus bypassing him for much the time he was there!
