Got this right? We stayed up last year by beating them 3-2 (H)?

This will be the final nail in the coffin, and thankfully, let's just get it over and done with and look forward to a season where we can win a few games.

Saying that, this is West Ham we will win this and then implode against Sunderland who will want to finish above the Barcodes.

2-0 to us

I agree, Ba is a waste on the left, he is a striker not a LW

I'm dreading this now. Probably going to be a very dull draw and We'll be down. At least they will be coming down with us

I predict a win for us coupled with a weekend of excellent results for us in relation to the teams around us. Hopes will be raised and will go into the final day full of positivity and optimism..........and then **** it up. It's the way it has to be :(

If Wolves win tomorrow, this will be the case.
Two bald men fighting over a comb. A very boring 1-1, a game hyped up as 'winner takes all' but neither team turns up and looks like they want to stay in the league.

Moses for them, Ba for us, we both go down and Wolves stay up.

However, i'd love to be wrong.

Whatever the result.

 To be perfectly honest, I'm not even bothered about the actual result (unless its a complete tonking obviously). A win would be jolly nice though.

Without talking too much about the discussion if it's still possible or not to stay up: its gamble time.

First of all: the midfield: we need Parker to bring the spirits back. Secondly: get Collison in the starting line up next to Parker. He may not be 100% fit, but we need someone who has the confidence to run at people and who can creat something. Because what I have seen from Hitz in the past games has been very very poor, he's giving possession away far too much. Thats the spine of the midfield. I'll leave it to you who fills up on the left and the right. I would opt for Sears & Spector. I was thinking about LBM as he gives his all, but that counts for nothing as he just has no ability to shoot or pass.

Defence: I know many of you will disagree, but I would put Upson back in it next to Tomkins. I'm fed up with Upson as well, but as said: we've got nothing to lose so let's hope he can get his act togather for only 2 more games. A no-nonsense defender who will kick the **** out of his opponent if he fancies it, in comparison to Da Costa who thinks he has time to take a walk around the park and is scared his hair will be ****ed. Tomkins-Upson has been our best partnership when both IN THEIR BEST FORM. If not: pitty, then we're ****ed. Jacobsen and Bridge on RB & LB, but only because we have no other options on LB because Bridge is giving his oponents too much time on the ball time & time again.

Forwards: Welll eeeerm, anybody? As long as we stick to only 2 strikers I will be relieved, instead of the usual 3 or 4. I would go for Ba & Piquionne. I would maybe fancy a place for Obinna in the starting line up, just to make the gamble complete. (mind you: I'm not an Obinna fan, but on his day...)

So:
----------------------Green-----------------
--Jacobsen-----Tomkins---Upson---Bridge
--Sears------Parker---Collison---Spector--
------------------Piquionne--Ba--------------

Oh yeah: If I was the board: I would sack Grant right now. Get Lomas or Brooking in for the last two games just to bring some passion to the team. Tactics won't matter that much, it's the desire that counts in these type of games. Anyway: anything will be better than Avram's tactics. Or maybe just ask Scotty to take up a player-manager role for those last two games, maybe the other players would fancy this.

We'll probably lose. N'Zogbia is better than anything we have and will no doubt cause us problems

Looking at this Wigan team it just shows how **** we are that we are below them after 37 games

Good thing I asked for NPower patches on my 90% off kit!

I actually think we'll both be relegated by next weekend so Wigan will have a huge let down whilst Scotty Parker and Robert Green will put on a show for us the next few weeks to thank us for our support and we'll win both fixtures. Once we're down the players won't have to listen to Grant anymore because they know they'll all be going and so will he so they'll ignore his ***** 4-3-3 and play their own format. Boa to score the final goal of the season as a reward for all the hardwork he's put in the last 3 years to go from clumsy man to a decent option off the bench. I fancy he, Sears, and Tomkins will be the main spine of the club next season. I hope we get some good, hard nosed defenders who like to punish strikers. It's the way of the Championship. Play hard, occassionally dirty and always hard nosed.

Don't care what the score is as long as there is a good fight from our players .
