Hopefully Faye and Carew (unlikely) are starting this. Need as many tough c**** as we can get into the team, I am sure they will kick us all game.
Would take a 1-0 win right now.

pretty certain Rotund Samuel has already said that Carew won't figure until the rearranged Aldershot game at the earliest

Did think it would be unlikely, whoever plays up front needs to be up for it, thats for sure.

Re: Doncaster Rovers vs West Ham United: match thread
we're stuffed then, Piquionne never looks up for it, Cole will last 5 minutes before getting a tap off one of the Donny centre-backs and will do his fake limp for the next 85 minutes
Maybe we should stick Faye up top!

Re: League Programme Cancelled At The Weekend?
Surely it is up to us "the football supporter" to behave and show that we can act responsibily or do we just accept that football supporters cannot control themselves?
Perhaps I am being foolish but I think better of my fellow football supporter. After 7/7 we carried on, we got through decades of the IRA threat without calling off games. During WW2 football more or less carried on. As a society we cannot give in to thugs. Perhaps we should remember to "keep calm and carry on!"

The OB have drafted in 10,000 Millwall to stop the looters while they police the football games

I thought Doncaster were a good footballing team on the few occassions that I've seen them on tv. I'll be surprised if they are kickers.D C wrote:Hopefully Faye and Carew (unlikely) are starting this. Need as many tough c***s as we can get into the team, I am sure they will kick us all game.

^^^Think Reid deserves a starting place if i'm honest, after his performances against Zaragoza and Cardiff, has been a rock at the back.

You're about the same age as me so years of experiencing home and away games must tell you that anything can happen at any game. The police have higher priorities at the moment and I will fully understand if the game is called off.hammers1954 wrote:Surely it is up to us "the football supporter" to behave and show that we can act responsibily or do we just accept that football supporters cannot control themselves?

Maybe a bit hard on Reid as have been so impressed with the guy but we need Faye playing, take Ilunga out of the firing line for Linda who will be a man on a mission.
Play Collison he is the most gifted/tricky midfielder we have who has that eye for a pass, uptop it's Cole or Piq both can be unplayable & both can be terrible, it's the lotto with these two.

Got to get our first points on the board........if we are serious about coming straight up then these are the types of games you have to go and grind out a result.
Unless things kick off tomorrow night....then I think the games will go ahead now.
