We really do need a win here.
To get into the winning mindset and just to win a competitive game FFs
It's been so long.

Head-to-head
.......victorious trip to Upton Park was in February 1955.
Doncaster
• Pressing for a first win in 14 league games, since a 3-1 away triumph over Derby on 1 March.
• Gained three of last season's 11 Championship wins in the first six matches.
• Not lost successive opening fixtures of a league season since 1997, when they went on that season to lose their league status.
• Sam Allardyce has never lost the first two league games at a new club, in his managerial career.
Not sure I can handle the depression - my own and in here - if we lose this one!
Ahhhhhhhh bollix to that

The excitement vibe comes across strong for these games; moreso than I can remember for the PL games. Who needs that plastic pit when you've got games like this to enjoy.
Any win will do COYI !

Having so far this season predicted a final league position of 10th-14th and a 0-0 draw with Cardiff, I'm strangely optimistic today. Cole to start and score, West Ham to win 2-1.

Who do Donny have in their team that is still waiting for their first goal in ages/for the club/ever?
I need somebody for first scorer.

I see a much more comfortable 0-2 away win here

This isn't a do or die game today by any stretch of the imagination. However, if we don't win it you just think it's going to be a season of playing catch up to everyone at the top of the table. We need a win today, whether it's 1-0 or 6-0. Not just to get the season off and running but to get the confidence back into some of the players.

Take your pick. Sears is the obvious choice, however.

Totally unrelated, but a "fit" Kieron Dyer is starting for QPR today

Doncaster will treat this like their cup final. If we don't bury our chances we could come a cropper.

BFS must change the system if it is not working.
I believe we dropped points last weeks to to BFS's unwillingness to change tack. I firmly believe that if we had gone to a simple 4-4-2 at half time, we would have won the game.
