Where are people seeing the goal?

I think it's safe to say (again) we NEED a goalscorer.

Thanks for that, would be interesting to know who it was.

I said we should have done that against Wigan last season, even with a seven man bench, but Grant was
still pulling players names out of the bag before getting on the bus.

On my way back on the 17.35 from Doncaster (Delayed at Newark. Typical.). Totally dominated the first half hour then seemed to go in our shell a bit. It was a **** game. I thought we looked too comfortable at times and didn't look to kill the game off. In the second half Doncaster had a 10minute spell of semi-pressure resulting in a smart Green save at his near post but we still looked comfortable despite playing well within ourselves. Cole was an improvement on as sub for the ever disappointing Piq, he rattled a right footer wide and high in the side netting with what was a half chance. Other than that and a Nolan effort across the face of goal we didn't create much at all, although the back 4 looked solid. One small point to make is that at one stage in the second half Scott Parker totally bottled a challenge which resulted in a moment of pressure on our defence, he had a decent enough game despite this but I found it an uncharacteristic effort on his part. Collison was decent, Noble effective, Taylor non-existent and Nolan again quiet despite the goal.

I may be wrong and hope I am.... but I can imagine him being like this until the end of the window or signing for someone else. In my opinion (not too much guesswork on my part) he is waiting for that (what he feels is inevitable) bid to come in for him and is therefore desperate to avoid injury. The old Scotty would throw himself into the tackle then think about it later - always been his style... But everything I've seen of him this season and pre-season has been him taking a cautious approach. Not much to go on obviously - but out of character. If he is still with us after the transfer window closes then I hope that changes. I suppose you can understand it, even if you don't like it.

All just my opinion of course

Thanks for the info

Got home about an hour ago (Richmond Nth Yorks). Donny were less than good! We shouldv'e had a few as we dominated. But a win is a win. Enjoyed the singing at the Beefeater! We need a Belamy........................PLEASE!
