Had a good trip up to Doncaster(had to pick up the wifes new car from Arnold Clark Renault near Wigans ground) Via Wigan on Saturday.
Parked near the Keepmoat in the Toys'R' us overflow car park.

Great suport from the Hammers fans as allways on the road (shame its not like it at home a bit more often) and ours was the only side of the ground which was full.

We should have scored a few in the first half in which Nolan was outstanding. Not sure about the formation I would like to see us playing 4-4-2 / 4-2-4 ,but a win away and 3 points made it a good trip home .
see you at Watford were we will again fill the away section unlike it was for there game on Saturday.
The championship clubs must love us fill there coffers.
John
Come on you Irons

No intention of Cole-bashing but I do think he should have squared the ball that he hit the side net with.

The mood of the game pretty well captured with the '**** game 3 points comment.
Positives:

O'Brien
Reid -again imense and Tomkins solid again

Ilunga - caught once but no reason to crucify him

Taylor - subdued comared to his debut

Naln 2 great efforts
Parker - clearly bottled tackles

Why Piq. over Cole? Piq needs to be sold

Again, substitutions on the late side

Great away support

i think 1-0 is what we should expect from sam, its 3 point and thats all we need this season

how did collison play cos he's clearly out of position there, i reckon barrera may have started if it wasnt for the international because as someone said we need some pace in that midfield

shame to hear a few of the same comments about parker, i went to the game last week and thought people were harsh on parker but doesnt sound completely commited, as you'd expect really if he might get his move

cole to start at watford i reckon

After he'd been over to acknowledge the fans after the game, I did like the way Nolan grabbed Cole and (I think) Stanislas round the neck and hugged them as they walked away. Clearly he's building the team rapport.
