The West was built as close to the church as possible to allow us to build the East forward as we knew we would not be allowed to build out behind the East.

Although it would be nice to see the East redeveloped into something like this... I just can't see it due to the hight of the stand and the proximity of the flats behind it.

Because the road behind the East Side had to have 24hr bus access.

Now there is only access to the flats needed....that could be run around the flats by the EHWC.

You have forgotten about the room in front of the current East Stand...which is more than a running track (although Pinky has forgotten that)

This is all getting away from the main problem in redeveloping Upton Park.

The area cannot take the fans we get in now.

Add ten thousand more and..... :shock:
