Firstly I would just like to say - I am not a fan of moving to Stratford, but if we have to do it, I thought I would chuck this one into the pan: Ok, so I havent thought about this in any great detail, but if the Daves believe we do not have any current options other than to move to Stratford (I do not believe this, but thats another story), then wouldnt it be an idea to try and get a descent business relationship going with Orient, and then maybe let them move into the Hockey venue - Now I know everyone is going to say that Hearn is a c*nt, and I totally agree (I for one dont have any hatred for Orient or there fans - in fact I feel sorry for them with that money grabbing bar steward running there club). I know what I am about to say is or could be illegal in football terms (but I am sure there are ways round it - see Dispatches 'How to buy a football club' documentary) - Could the Daves not buy Orient (no idea what Hearn would want - knowing him more than they are worth), put someone in charge as chairman, stick them in the Hockey Venue, and basically become our feeder club, where we can bang our youngsters to and during this time they will more than likely improve on the pitch, and may even get into the Championship. Now, as I said before I havent thought about all the technicalities of this, but I though I would say what I was thinking and hopefully see if anyone else thinks it would benefit both clubs?

Im trying to be nice but I can't take the above serious, there are just far too many points why it wouldn't work starting with being illegal but also from the point I wouldn't want what you have suggested happen to any club anywhere, they still have fans at the end of the day.

It would be more fun to buy Millwall and then go out of business.

Know what you mean - he always has been, I can remember when I was just a kid, and my old man used to watch quite a bit of snooker, and everytime Steve Davis won something he would take the limelight, almost as tho he had won - I can remember thinking 'who is this guy?', probably the word I was looking for I was not aware of at that age.

The way Hearn is going Orient will be f'cked by him anyway, so no need to get involved, not that legally we could anyway.

just riffing, but:
ground share with orient, we take a portion of the money from the sale of brisbane rd
every west ham season ticket holder gets free entry to any orient game that is played there
west ham get a 50% cut of any money taken on matchday when orient are playing
they get bigger crowds, we make money on the ground when we aint even playing there
builds bridges between the 2 clubs again, an increased income for both teams, they are happy, so are we, we combine our bid, job done

I'd rather go to this stadium and have it covered in West Ham crests and be claret and blue everywhere. Not neutral to share it with Orient.

Orient are an irrelevance. Just ignore them and they will go away. More than likely to League 2.

Hearn must be off his bloody rocker, how on earth can he put in a bid to move orient into the OS?,5,000 odd fans in a 60,000 seater stadium, the tool is just after a quick few quid when the hammers move in by the way of compensation,

I am under the impression that the c*nt wants to scale down the olympic stadium from the 80,000 after the games to 25,000. My original thoughts were not just to help us out in all this, but I genuinely feel sorry for the fans there - he doesnt give a f*ck about them or there club, and I really wouldnt be surprised if we moved into the OS, he would pretty much let the club die because he would then know he had missed a trick to line his pockets with the sale of Brisbane Road.
