Rocketron,Will you please amplify on this?
On the radio commentary, he was hardly mentioned.
Thanks in advance.
Good positioning, get involved in play and virtually all of his passes reached it's destination.

Re: West Ham United V Blackpool Match Thread.
nolan played much deeper today, and was more effective and done what had to be done..nothing more.nothing less.
Carew's hold up play was excellent, and with baldock not far away causing problems.
Only slight criticism is that although baldbock is nippy,he is slightly fragile, and was pushed around quite a bit.
sound performance by all,but blackpool were really crap, didnt realise phillips and shelvey were playing till they got subbed.
Strange no one has mentioned jesus yet..a good 30 minutes worth of chants dedicated to him thorugh the match.and he took it well

Break open the champers,Cole has finally been dropped,2yrs of that lumbering so n so,has tested my patience
hopefully a spell on the bench, will make him realise how much effort he needs to put in,to gain a starting slot
'Supporters' like you test my patience.

Fantastic. Carew was briliant and worked well with little Sam who worked so hard and thoroughly deserved his goals The midfield looked more settled, Jack looked a lot more fitter than of late, and as said Nolan was so much more in it today The defence looked very confident and strong Tomkins and Reid, what a great pairing Well done to all the players - what a great day out :raver:

Re: West Ham United V Blackpool Match Thread.
well, look at me! I posted the most negative and doom laden prediction i have for years- and here we are 4 ****ing nil!
so, reverse psychology DOES work!?
blackpool were tragically bad , really- even worse than millwall, imho.
Thougyt carew looked sharp and his partnership with baldock :raver:
Loving the pace of baldock. the "no, not past me" of diop.
bring on the soton!

Just got home, good day out all round! Thought we always looked threatening with the ball and never looked threatened when we didn't have it! Baldock played really well as did Carew, I have always been a big fan of Cole's and the last to give him stick but Carew seems to be a better general footballer.
Bloke with the flag was hilarious, good humour!
Another 4 goals, a clean sheet and it was at home, so who's complaining?!

Re: West Ham United V Blackpool Match Thread.
Thoroughly enjoyed that, lots of positives:
Baldrick came alive after his goal, his movement was excellent.
Papa stifled anything they tried to put together. Not seen him play for us before and he looked scary.
Collison got 90mins and a goal. It's obvious the lad is playing his way back to fitness and confidence.
Carew was MOM. Not only is he a lump, but he's got a good touch and starts in front of CFC for me.
All round good news. Another Margarita for me barman!

Re: West Ham Utd v Blackpool: match thread
All well and good, Almunia nothing to do, defence solid, Diop a brick wall. midfield worked hard and Carew and Baldock provided the goods. Couldnt be more happier really, great performance and a chance to go top on Tuesday
That corner flag incident was gold!

Highlights of the day.
The groundsman had me in tears of laughter.
Getting Fat Sam to wave at the TBL. He turned around, looking very confused....stared for a long time then waved.

Re: West Ham Utd v Blackpool: match thread
Carew should be motm, but for me Baldock. One on one with the keeper and had a cunning plan.
Was great to see and been awhile.
Nolan in a designated midfield role and getting back to help out, handled it comfortably
Was good to watch and have said before there is football in this team.
Collison with a goal will do his confidence a world of good, just have a feeling he was asked to play narrow and there were times when the flank was wide open and there to be taken.
Faubert, solid performance and a great delivery for the assist. Nice to see all the team acknowledge it.
Still early in the season, but feels good to get a good home result.
Mention to the manager as well, two weeks to prepare and got it right, some minutes at the end as well to keep everybody believing they will play their part in a long season.
Well done, first home game of the season for me. Going to enjoy this one.

The "ahhhh cute" moment was that tiny mascot that "scored" and the BML gave him a great cheer and Nolan gave him a "low" five.
**** of the day moment was the twats that were given grief to a couple of Blackpool fans, (man and his wife). The Blackpool couple had been in the Queens before leaving. Sad to think that these knobs will be the last West Ham fans they remember
