Keep hearing from WHUFC that the tickets are going well...which usually means there are 1000s left.
Is it due to sell out ?

I'm going for 3-0 to the Hammers, with an El Hadji Diouf hatrick

Re: West Ham United vs Leicester City Match Thread
I'd certainly keep Faubs in the RM position; for me he's a touch sus defensively, but can hurt a team with pace and crossing further up the pitch.
If fit, I reckon Tomkins might see some bench time, unless Sam thinks he needs to change a 'clean sheet' back 4. The rest pick themselves, with few other options. Did I detect from the commentary that El Waiter put himself about a bit yesterday? Sounded like he bravely went into a few challenges.
The longer the season goes, the more I get the hunch that Sam's happy to build a team around three giants, namely Faye, Diop and Carew (Cole)... still feel the creativity around them needs notching up a bit, but this should be another home victory.

Keep the back line the same as they were against Brighton. They were brilliant and don't see any reason to change them. Take out Collison, add in Baldock up with Carew if Cole is still not ready and you got yourself a much deserved 2 - 0 win and three points.
Nolan and Carew with the goals.

Re: West Ham United vs Leicester City Match Thread
Looking forward to a great game...these are a very good attacking team; our defence will have to be at their best and we are going to need more of the work ethic we saw against Brighton to pin them back. More of the same of what we saw against Blackpool with Carew and Baldock up front...an early goal once again will be a key - we are beginning to look less vulnerable in front and seem to be wanting to get on the front foot early in games. 3-2 win

Just had a look on quick seats on the website and according to that there are still about 4000 left, 500ish in band 1, 1800 in band 2, 1700 in band 3 and about 20 in band 4.Romford wrote:Keep hearing from WHUFC that the tickets are going well...which usually means there are 1000s left.

Definately got to laugh about it, the way they are advertising it is like we have only hundreds left or something. And it does sadly, I hope to see some nicer football and a better performance on Saturday.Romford wrote:You've got to laugh haven't you...

Re: West Ham United vs Leicester City Match Thread
There are some fans who are staying away in some self imposed exile, but I think many, if not all of those will return after Christmas if we start to run away with life it at the top and especially if we then, as I think we will, start playing. I think that is the planRomford wrote:You've got to laugh haven't you...

Looking forward to going along for this one. Despite mega misgivings about a lot to do with the club this week.

Anything at or above 30k for division 2 football at £32 a go will have the owners laughing all the way to the bank .I bet they cannot believe their luck.
Frankly , I'm astonished at how high attendences have been .

Actually like Leicester. Always been one of those Norwich, Southampton or Forest types for me.
Teams I'd be happy to see in the top flight, in place of Wigan, Blackburn & Stoke

No doubt we'll be considered to be part of the Wigan, Blackburn & Stoke category by opposing fans in a couple of years times
