Coventry City 1 West Ham Utd 2 (19/11/11)
Vs
15:00, Saturday 19th November 2011, Ricoh Arena
Coventry City Last Six (Home Games)
WDDWLL
West Ham United Last Six (Away Games)
WDDLWW
West Ham have picked up 11 points from their last 6 away games, scoring 9 goals and conceeding just 4.
Coventry City have only picked up 8 points from a possible 18 in their last 6 home games, scoring 9 goals, but shipping 9 goals also. The last team to beat them at home was table toppers Southampton, who ran out 4-2 winner on 5th November. Southampton where also the last team to beat West Ham on their travels, 1-0 at St Mary's on 18th October.
Even if they pick up 3 points, Coventry will still end the day in the bottom 3, whilst West Ham could close the gap to the top of the table to 2 points with victory.
DL Prediction
We shall win

Think we will win this one quite comfortably. Hopefully, Matty Taylor will be back fit too.

5,800 tickets already sold. Extra 450 released on Monday morning. What a ****ing turn out that is, all going to see the team with the best away form in the league (thanks for that Big Sam)

May still go to this one yet, although I don't think this is going to be as easy as some are thinking, Coventry gave Southampton a scare today and we all know anything can happen in this league.

Re: Coventry City v West Ham Match Thread
Won't be as easy as the table suggests, with the Bristol City game still fresh in the mind - we should win though, so another 3 points from a 0-3 win...and another clean sheet

Re: Coventry City v West Ham Match Thread
Not being funny but Faubert at RB with Demel on the wing would be immense for us. Would be a shame to drop Collison but Noble and Nolan would get the nod with Taylor out left.
Carew/Cole with Baldock up front.
Bouba has been a great signing too.

Re: Coventry City v West Ham Match Thread
Nice to see our defence standing tall. Faye was immense today and hopefully he will carry this into the next game. Will be interesting to see who they look to bring in on loan too. Surely one of the Manchester clubs or Chelski has someone who could do a job for six weeks or so if need be.

If we win we will have more points mid November than we had the whole of last season

Re: Coventry City v West Ham Match Thread
He will play Diop as his "enforcer" this takes up a midfield berth and dictates a formation (along with Nolan) which forces one of our home grown out of position.
