Right then... left foot forward, then back then a quick spin around the right, wave my left hand to the right, the right to the left meeting in the middle to form a crossed hammer.... there it is, i've just done my victory Jig and it felt GOOD (and a bit weird) but mainly bloody good.
Ahhhhh!

[quote="ShanghaiHammer"]Cannot find the goals anywhere and not on the BBC... anyone know where they are? Thanks

If you can get BBC I Player mate, they are on the League Cup Show at around 54 mins

Got back home to Leeds about half 11 so fair play to those who had to go all the way back down the m1.

What a quality result!! Big performance and big win. Thought Tomkins was immense also. Can't believe there were people moaning on the radio on the way home! We're 2nd in the league, best defence in the football league is it? won 6 out of 7 - lets enjoy it for once!

Onwards and upwards!
Irons.

Thought the support was pretty good myself. Went a bit quiet midway through the 2nd but overall decent with all different kinds of accents!!

Yeah I thought it was pretty decent, I was up towards the back near the Scottish fellas who kept screaming "Beast! Beast! 15 Zammama! She was only 15". Very funny.

Quality win, such a shame that the Saints managed to come from behind (That's not a euphemism  ). Brilliant support. everytime they asked Graham Sharp how rthe game was going, all you could hear was West Ham singing.

Well done you lot, proud of you.

A great result. Professional performance at a place we don't normally do very well at.

Another clean sheet, with our strikers scoring goals. Happy days.

Well done to those who went, roll on Saturday.

Green 9 (not much to do, everything he did was fine)
Demel 8 (good debut)
McCartney 7 (looked assured)
Tomkins 9 (gave ball away once in first half but kicked or headed anything that came anywhere near him after that)
Faye 8 (didnt put a foot wrong)
Noble 7 (felt he should have got 2 pens and moaned at ref: gave the ball away a few times)
Taylor 8 (good crosses, good defence)
Diop 7 (bizarrely the man left upfront during oppo corners)
Faubert 7 (ran around a lot, but not always effectively)
Nolan 8 (didnt move a lot but was in the right place at right time)
Piquinne 8 (looked interested al game and good header for goal)

O'Brien 6 (looked a bit too slow for someone who had just come on)
Cole 8 (came on where Piq had left off)

Hope this helps, loads of match reports in the daily thread

just on the train on the way back..happy happy days indeed.

Thought Tomka was superb last night..really looks on top of his game and my only worry is we'll lose him !
Demel looked like he's been playing all season long..very assured and will be a star on this showing..
Greeno pulled off a great save first half when he needed to, apart from that I cant recall him having alot to do
Midfield won us the game- we were superb from the off and at times played some frankly breath-taking football really moved the ball around well with options all over the park.

IM LOVING THIS!!!

Great to meet everyone and thx to Romford for the hotel - was just the job and Hartlepool is a cracking little town-cant think we'll be back here next season tho!

When was the last time we went to the North EAST on a tuesday night & came back with a clean sheet and 3 points?

For the record, I definitely didn't just say "North West".

think that's what has been so pleasing - for the last 2 seasons we have hardly won an away game and for the most have been awful on the road but since Sam took over the transformation in our away form has been amazing we're a much tougher side to beat on the road and I'm struggling to remember the last time we won 7 out of 10 away games.
