Like it says, the chairman is on the BBC local news at six thirty tonight, talking about "his hopes and fears" over the Olympic Stadium.

DG just said the seats to need to be as near to the pitch as the current at E13 9AZ

So much for the viewing distance being better than Wembley

More to follow at 11.05

The short snippet warmed my heart. Gold said we would not bid if there were no assurances that the pitch would not be further away from the front row than the current Alpari.

Unless there is a huge U Turn, I think this is another step distancing ourselves from the Stadium

Well, I watched the full version on Late Kick Off and it added nothing. If you watched it because of my post please accept my apologies for wasting your time.

He also said "If things are going to change for the better, we probably have to grasp this nettle."...... which doesnt sound like distancing ourselves from the stadium.

Sadly, that comment was not shown on the 6:30 news, (after which I commented). To many contradictions. When I am faced with confusion, my answer is normally to burn the ****ing thing down.

He knows now that we haven't got Spurs to worry about, he can afford to call the shots. He knows the OS needs a full time tenant and is calling their bluff.
