I RECEIVED some nice emails after calling Spurs a football secondary school compared with West Ham.

I'd like to remind S…kicker of Barnet, Cockerel Lover of Shooters Hill and their friends that seven of the last World Cup squad played academy football with West Ham.

Some record that. And now Arsenal threaten to overtake you in the league. Shame

I actually agree with the High Priestess, I think Hodgson will do a great job for England. I would certainly prefer him to 'Arry Boy. It will probably piss off Levy big time as they are expecting a big pay off fro the FA. Keep the money in yr pockets boys !!

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is trying to exploit Championship rivals Portsmouth’s woes with a double swoop for Stephen Henderson and Jason Pearce.

Debt-hit Pompey are in administration and Hammers want to take goalkeeper Henderson on loan, plus defender Pearce.

The Londoners' promotion rivals Reading, meanwhile, are want to take midfielder Hayden Mullins away from the crisis at Fratton Park on loan ahead of a permanent deal.
