Re: Peterborough United v West Ham United: Match Thread
If Vaz Te is fit for this (if not, then Morrison wide left, Lansbury wide right, and Collison in the center):
-------------------------Green--------------------
JOB-----------Tomks------Faye-------Linda
Morrison------Noble----Lansbury-----Vaz Te
-------------------------Nolan----------------------
-------------------------Cole-------------------------
Subs: Henderson, Collison, Baldock, Maynard, Collins
Nolan as a 2nd striker...If Vaz Te and Morrison could get forward throughout the game this might work for us...

Re: Peterborough United v West Ham United: Match Thread
I understand it's what (most) people want, and we're posting what we'd like to see not what we think will actually happen, but there's no way Rav will start according to what BS has said:

Apologies if link has been posted somewhere else

I think Sam said that when he signed him, not recently.

Re: Peterborough United v West Ham United: Match Thread
we'll find out if Sam really believes we were unlucky on Saturday with the line up as he said in his post match interview...
if he genuinely believes that he'll probably line up the same - although I suspect he actually wanted to play tomkins holding mid and colllison right instead of o'neil - but faye missing put the end to that.
if he changes the team dramatically it could be a master stroke or the sign of panic....he also needs to have half an eye on Saturday - potentially the game to decide our season
wouldn't like to be in his shoes!
personally I'd go for 4-5-1 with cole tuesday
then diamond 4-4-2 on Saturday with maynard and baldock up front and scare the bejesus out of reading going for bust to attack

Re: Peterborough United v West Ham United: Match Thread
So bored of 4-5-1. I just want whoever he puts out to attack.
As long as we have Faye and Tomkins I think we'll be fine defensively.
You win games with goals, not clean sheets.

We would have won our last 4 games if we kept clean sheets.TurnbullHammer wrote:So bored of 4-5-1. I just want whoever he puts out to attack.

So are you an advocate of 4-6-0 then Carnage ? Keep it even tighter ? Or do you prefer 1-4-5-0 , with perhaps Tomkins as a sweeper ?carnage wrote: We would have won our last 4 games if we kept clean sheets.

I would like to see a back 3 of Faye Tomkins and Collins, Faubert and Taylor as wing backs, Noble and Collison holding with Nolan playing behind Maynard and Cole.

As such, a point from this game would not be a disaster

I want a win as much as the next man - just pointing out that if we were to get 4 points over the next 2 games it would be better to draw this game as opposed to the Reading fixtureNo, not another draw...we need a win.
COYI, 6 points from both games please

Just want to see a team put in a good shift and play to their ability and not rely on others to motivate them, play without fear and believe in themselves.
Plus Sam picks whoever performed best in training pre game and sticks by them.

And we would of won due to the fact we scored more goals than the opposition.carnage wrote:

Doesn't sound like a bad set up to be fair.bristolhammerfc wrote:I would like to see a back 3 of Faye Tomkins and Collins, Faubert and Taylor as wing backs, Noble and Collison holding with Nolan playing behind Maynard and Cole.
