West Ham v Reading - Radio

Postby Wembley1966 on Fri Mar 30, 2012 10:14 pm

Radio - two different radio commentaries to choose from - on BBC 5 Live Sports Extra or on BBC Radio London digital channels.

BBC Five Live Sports Extra
DAB - BBC Five Live Sports Extra; Freeview channel 706; Sky channel 0144; Virgin Media channel 908 and Freesat channel 706

Online in the UK at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/bbc_radio_five_live_sports_extra
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r5lsp.asx

If you’re abroad (and the UK):
http://tunein.com/tuner/?StationId=50459&
http://www.radioguide.fm/internet-radio-england/bblraden

TuneIn app
If you want to listen on your iPhone, Android or Blackberry on the free TuneIn app - search for BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Note – broadcasting doesn’t start until a few minutes before the match.

BBC Radio London – Digital channels only
Can be found on DAB - BBC London; Sky channel 0152; Freesat channel 718 and Virgin Media channel 930.

It is NOT on 94.9 FM – that’s the Queens Park Rangers v Arsenal match, so most of their online streams will have that match on!

Did you contact them ?

For the Leeds game they never listed it until late on, worth asking on their live support

Liveonlinefooty and flashsportstreams - whilst not currently listing us, they should both have the match. We're going to be a lot more popular than the Wigan or Wolves matches!

Sportdigital is offering the game for 2 euros. You'll need to understand enough German to register though ;) (I can help with this but I'm offline til about 1330 UK time). Dunno if the stream can be accessed from the UK.

Around 10 Hammers gathering in a local sports pub for a game. Do you know of any stable streams, preferably in a little higher quality? Can be paid as well

Gummi - flashsportstreams if they have it will be your best bet - otherwise although http://www.streamhd.eu/ are not currently showing it in their schedule they might have it.

Also, if you look in the listings sites - wiziwig, etc they have the speed of all the streams, although you might have to use Sopcast to get the highest quality.

Anyone know of a website showing it that would work on the iPad. Flashsportstreams works but don't know if they are showing it or if it would be on one of their apple channels even if they do.

I always find this site a good alternative as they carry links to streams not usually listed on wizwig,fsi etc.Streams are listed about 30 mins before KO.http://livetv.ru/en/eventinfo/112676_west_ham_reading/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
