Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread
havent got time to trawl through the site, but has anyone else heard about Noble having a huge bust up with Allardyce at half time, and that he wasnt injured at all?
Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread
Surely lying about fan's favourite player being injured is too much... even for Sam.chalks wrote:havent got time to trawl through the site, but has anyone else heard about Noble having a huge bust up with Allardyce at half time, and that he wasnt injured at all?

I was away for this match, and have just seen the highlights(!) on the BBc. Blimey- will we ever defend so badly, all over the park, again, ever? wtf happened with their second goal in particular?

I would have thought Allardyce might have mentioned Noble's unwise pass that led to their first goal, wouldn't you?chalks wrote:havent got time to trawl through the site, but has anyone else heard about Noble having a huge bust up with Allardyce at half time, and that he wasnt injured at all?
Re: West Ham United v Reading: Match Thread
just before half time we had that corner that we nearly scored from, well noble was at the half way line talking to sam, pointing at his leg, in the sort of way that someone might do if they had hurt it, so i'm fairly certain he was injured.

This story was offered up on ITBS, but the poster later accepted that there was probably no truth in it whatsoever (it was a rumour going around the Wakefield on Saturday night apparantly, put out there by - quote - "somebody who would know").
TBH - if there WAS any truth in it - one imagines that the party line would be 'a slight knock' or even 'feeling unwell/sick', and NOT a thigh muscle problem that will probably cause him to miss the whole of Easter.

Its interesting to note that this is the 5th longest match thread - still going strong 4 days after the match finished - in history.
