With the way he's gone this season, I suspect he'd be a hard player to keep hold of if we don't go up. He must be knocking on the door of 20 goals, most of them at that tinpot Barnsley outfit we played last week which makes the feat even more impressive.

He's a player who not only can score, create, take the game to opponents but he also has an unpredictability that brings a new dimension to the team. He is the type of player we have so far lacked this season and who makes other teams worry and their managers change tactics in order to try to negate him. All that is good for us.

Do you think Ricardo Vaz Te is a better player than Carlton Cole? Or perhaps just going through a purple patch?

Vaz Te is on great form at the moment, and Cole's has been a bit rocky lately (scored what was IMO a great goal today though and had an amazing shot a few minutes later). However when Cole was on form that man was un playable against.

In conclusion, both are great when playing well.

They play in different positions and contribute different things so the question is a bit moot. You could ask is Green better than Tomkins?

The thing that impresses me most about him is that he seems comfortable running at defences from all over the pitch. Great on both wings, and can turn people inside out through the middle as well.
