For those asking the formation questions - I would say we lined up like this:-

-------------------------Green------------------------
--------------Tomkins-------Reid-----------------
Demel---------------------------------------Taylor
----------------Noble-----O'Neil------------------
Lansbury-------------------------------------------
----------------------Nolan---------------Vaz Te
-------------------------Cole------------------------

If I was going to put a formation "stamp" on it. It would be 4-3-2-1.
I agree with that and the more tempo you play with the more it looks like a 4 3 3. We sat back from 25 mins till half time and that definately was not 4 4 2. Fair do's BFS got his tactics spot on for this one.

Yes I would certainly agree with that but I really can't help you with the why. He definitely seems a lot fitter though.

The black/white ones are really evocative.

He's got a pretty powerful zoom function on that camera, too!

I think a polite inquiry if opposing fans' partners are aware of their whereabouts is distinctly pro gay if anything. It shows a level of caring, maybe even concern that is seriously lacking in certain other chants.

Great performance, thought we played some really good football at times on Saturday. Gary O'Neill has really impressed me the last month or so, bit of energy and tidy in possession. At 3-0 in the first half screaming to his team mates to look after the ball and not do anything silly. Professional performance from the team, very few complaints. Hope there is no complacency tomorrow night, pressure is on Southampton now lets see what they do.

As I said, if you wonder how people feel about the chanting, then go to one of the many threads thats been started about the issue. Search one out. To debate it on a match thread ain't appropriate in my opinion.

Go to one of them threads and I will quite happily discuss it with you.

In fact, no, scrap that. You lost all credibility when you tried to compare it with the vile racism from the 70's where black players had bananas thrown at them.

Just a final couple of reflections,
1 I can see how you've knotched up 9000 posts; you just keep repeating the identical point over and over again,
2. How about adding 'self-appointed' to your monika 'match thread guru' and stop trying to moderate other people's views of what's appropriate.... As far as I am aware I have as much right to air my views as you my friend.

It was great upstairs in the Supporters' Club after the game - DJ playing ska and a really good vibe.

Anyone who doesn't think you can't have a good time in E13 on a matchday just ain't going to the right places.

I'm not trying to moderate anyone's view at all. All I am saying (again) it's not relevent to this thread, and there are many other threads on the forum discussing the issue.

Yes, you do have the right to air your views, just like I have mine, but I, like most people, am aware of the time and the place in which to air them.

Now, I don't know what they put in your rice pudding down there in Cornwall, but you're clearly not getting it, are you?

As I said, if you want enter a debate about it, off you toddle and start a thread about it.

Or, even better, meet me over on this one and we can debate it until the cows come home.

I thought that guv, but thought I was being a bit sensitive, which is really not like me when it comes to football related things...at all

Saying that, for me has an eye for a photo, takes a good pic, all be it "some" the content could have been perhaps better selected.

Better add a disclaimer to that UTJ....without disputing your point of view, and having had another look you do have a good point.....I make a part time living out of taking pics. The B&W's are very good.
