Re: Leicester City V West Ham United: Match Thread
'Kin hell. Southampton still need to win a football game. If 'Boro win on Saturday Fatty will be throwing the kitchen sink at em, and rightly so. I have this odd feeling we will catch them up on points and goal difference on a dramatic final day, but end up in 3rd anyway because of the head-to-head results...

Middlesbrough are worse at home than we are
Southampton absolutely battered them earlier in the year.

I find it a bit strange everyone has given up already - sure, the play-offs are looking increasingly likely, but with two games to go anything can happen.
It ain't over 'til it's over

I bet Sky are pleased they picked this one for Monday Night Football...
Still, if the Boro beat Saints it'll be back on

If Middlesbrough (7 wins in 22 at home) beat Southampton, I'm sure the mood will change a bit - but even then Coventry (1 away win all year) will probably have been relegated before their Southampton game
I actually quite like the idea that it's pretty much done two weeks before the play offs.
It almost creates a feeling that separates the season and the 3 game cup competition.
I think it would be much more deflating to end up missing out on the last day.

Now that it's unlikely Boro will make the POs the pressure will be off and the goals will flow. Same with Cov. The fat lady is still on the shitter waiting to take the stage, she ain't there yet.

4-0 West Ham. Just to tease us that little bit more so we can all wonder 'what could've been'....

I'm still going to this one, mates let me down though and because of the midweek result decided not to come. Always a proud West Ham fan!

With this (looking like) being a game where theres nothing to play for before the play-offs, this will be a good chance for a non-stop singsong. Let's just have a good time.

I'm the same. All of my mates have now decided not to come but that's not gonna stop me! :raver:hammer2192 wrote:I'm still going to this one, mates let me down though and because of the midweek result decided not to come. Always a proud West Ham fan!

Me and the old man are still going.
New ground for me, and Southampton aren't up just yet. Would enjoy to watch the scramble for tickets if 'Boro dare win!

Re: Leicester City V West Ham United: Match Thread
At the beginning of the season I was thinking this would be a very crucial match for us, e.g. clinched the title. Since we still have something to play for, and they haven't, I'm going for a fairly comfortable 2 nil win.
I think Leicester "this seasons biggest flops" City will be a force next season. Have a decent manager back and are bound to spend more. Don't want to be playing catch up again.
