Knocked a couple of times, but he's not been in. I think he cut West Ham completely out of his life after the Palace play off defeat.

I think this is the FA Cup QF replay that we lost on penalties to a great Arsenal side. If it is, it was one of the great nights under the lights, the atmosphere was electric - probably in my top 5 ever, and second only to the Ipswich play off since it's been all seater. It took me days to get over this defeat. Bergkamp got sent off and we absolutely battered them, but they went 1 0 up and then I think Hartson missed a penalty? We equalised with about 10 mins to go, and how we didn't win it in extra time I don't know. I think Tony Adams scored with one of the worst penalties I've ever seen, and then Abou hit the post with a poor effort. I was absolutely gutted - I was convinced we'd get to Wembley that year.

Reading this back, I don't think I've ever got over it!
