Firstly, I should state that I'm firmly patriotic and also in favour of the Royal Family. However, I am already sick of when I go into just about any high street shop, I am greeted with just about everything covered in union jacks and Olympic stuff. I wouldn't mind the latter so much if there was (a) a decent logo rather than that appalling graffiti art 2012 design and (b) some merchandise worth having and keeping for collectable sake.

I'm another one for cards. I don't like giving or receiving them and think they are a complete waste of money and tree, yet everyone around me always expects one from me. The missus and her housemate just moved and I helped a **** load packing and moving and unpacking and they still had a dig that I didn't give them a bloody 'welcome to your new house' card.
