SammyLeeWasOffside wrote: My confusion (thanks by the way) is that bet365 offer the -1.5 so reading this thread I have always wondered why anyone would take the -1. Maybe they are just confused

For example
Bayern Munich -1 pays 2.350
Bayern Munich -1.5 pays 3.10

Why would anyone take the 1st bet?
These are ASIAN handicaps rather than EURO handicaps....-1.5 asia is -1 euro handicap....-1 asian handicap = money back if Bayern win by 1..but you win the bet if they win by 2 or more..

Duke of York Stakes, 3.00 York - Mayson. Running very well and jockey described him as "vastly mproved" from his 3 year old form. Northern trainer loves a winner at York. 7/2.

Stuck a tenner e/w on the double Billy boy. Will pay towards Saturday if that comes in

That useless cynt Paul Hanagan ruined it though for his 'ride' on Mayson.

Apologies.

6.10 Gowran Park - That Boy David. Weak race, only real horse with clear ability. 4/5

4.10 York - Dust Swirl. A lot of newcomers though Only horse with decent form from powerful yard.

4.45 York - Dark Ranger. Distance specialist, jockey knows the horse well & was unlucky last run. 8/1.

2.10 Newbury - Starscope. 2nd in the Guineas last weekend running in lesser company today. 6/5.

3.20 Newmarket - Heavy Metal. Won easily last time out. Was fancied in a stronger race than this at Chester last week before being a non runner due to the heavy going. 5/2.

2.00 York - Sadeek's Song. Crap in a grade 2 on crap ground last time out. Better ground in lesser company today. Weight could be an issue today. 14/1 (e/w).

All 4 teams to score (West Ham, Blackpool, Chelski, Bayern) 11/5

West Ham and Bayern to score first 7/4

I've just stuck a tenner on him at 16/1 with Laddies.

I also went on CC to score anytime and West Ham to win at 3/1.
