We may have just got lucky but I've got to say that there were shed loads of gorgeous Blackpool ladies around yesterday.

And before anyone says it, yes I am getting older, greyer, etc, but I have retained at least some taste in these matters.

Par for the course of course, even on this site it seems to me that some people who are neither season ticket holders or members got the best seats. The amount of people who got first dibs at the Club Wembley/Corporate seats who no longer go is astonishing.
I would love the people in these seats to come clean, not blaming them for one moment as I would do the same, but how did you get them?
Did season ticket holders get a chance of these? Not that I know.
It appears if you knew someone who had got corporate this year then you were in the middle tier.
This in my opinion cannot be right.

Fair play to you UTJ, and I know what you have done for tickets on this site.
I admit to being incredibly jealous of those that did get the best seats, and like I say I don't blame them at all.
Call it luck, call it cunning, call it what you want, but do you feel a little envious as I do of those who have done **** all for years who got better seats then you and me?
There is very little anyone can do I suppose but it still begs the question how this all happens.
You mentioned Geoff Hurst and while I agree with you to a certain extent, surely he has more right then those that go once/twice a year?

I suppose it would have been nice to be closer to the area where we lifted the trophy and on the side where the players spent most of the time celebrating mushy, but to be honest I was just happy to be there at all.

Maybe, though I can't think of too much he's done for the club in the last 40 years. I might be more inclined to agree if he didn't charge people for his autograph!

I will go public now. The reason I did not before is because I was paranoid someone from the club would read my post and cancel my ticket.

Firstly I will say that I physically did not take more tickets than I was entitled to.

I have a regular season ticket and a membership. After upgrading to corporate for a few games this season, I enquired about an upgrade to a corporate season ticket. I decided not to upgrade. A few weeks later, I got an invoice for the full cost of a Corporate Season Ticket. I informed West Ham's accounts department that I had decided not to take the upgrade, and that they must have records to show I had a regular season ticket and had not sat in the corporate section. They promised to remedy the situation.

Now and then I would get a statement saying I owed money, and I would have the same conversation.

I stopped getting statements, and thought nothing of it. However before the Cardiff game, the corporate department called and asked if I wanted my "regular" seat in the Lyall and Greenwood seat. As it was only £48, I decided to buy the ticket.

When we got through I chanced my luck and called the Corporate Sales team. To my surprise, they said I could buy either a £100 or £78 club tier ticket. They even said I could buy a second if I called on Thursday.

I then got a second ticket on my regular season ticket in the regular blocks for my sister. Because I was entitled to two tickets, I do not feel bad buying two tickets. I even gave away my membership number to someone on here.

So basically I got my club tier ticket due to poor record keeping by the club.

As for the rest of the club tier tickets. I think we had 5,000,. I already know corporate members were being offered 2 per season ticket. There are 808 bond holders, around 800 Staff members, all the players tickets, ex Hammers, wives, sponsors. It is not hard to see where that 5,000 went

there were a large number of women I saw supporting Balckpool that had faces and arms exactly the same colour as their replica shirts. It was a very odd sight.
