I'm not one for wallowing in the failings of our rivals, especially. I just find it hard to be that interested in any other side but West Ham, and the numerous threads which seem to crop up (not just here) picking apart any tiny perceived shortcoming in the fortunes of, say, Tottingham in order to - I dunno what the point is, to supplement our support of West Ham, maybe? - just comes across as a bit... muggy, really. Just IMO, of course.

However.

Sheffield United are different gravy. They went out of their way, time and again, to attempt to put our club out of business. The reasons why they were wrong over Tevezgate/their own relegation from either a moral, logical or actual standpoint are manifold, are well documented elsewhere on this very site and are well drilled into everyone on this site anyway, pretty much, so going over and over that ground is redundant, but those reasons remain perfectly valid as reasons to detest Sheffield United utterly, and will remain so IMO until someone in charge at that fuckhole cesspit decides, "You know what? We shouldn't have taken that money from West Ham. It was wrong. Let's give it back." They are the "Millwall" of the West Ham supporters' living memory (apart from 'Ouston, who can still recall the docker's strike that kicked all of that off).

One day, one sweet day, they'll go under and be levelled and then sold to Wal-Mart to build yet another Asda. And gentlemen, I will go up there and dance on that ****ing tarmac. Dance.

Don't you think it's time to put all this vindictiveness behind us? To forgive and forget?

No, neither do I !

I only hope that a similar future laden with karmic retribution awaits Daniel Levy and Co, and that being "robbed" of CL football with the last kick of the season is just a taste of things to come...

I will never forgive the way that club tried to kill this one.

I do feel sorry for the intelligent Sheffield United fans who have integrity and can see what happened was wrong, for two reasons. Firstly that they have/had an utterly morally corrupt owner who has failed to back the club even witht the bloody money he extorted from us, and secondly they do have a high percentage of utter ****wits 'supporting' them. All clubs have them but christ on a bike they are in a class of their own.

I hope Sheffield United do a 'Darlington' very, very soon.

Huddersfield Town..... I salute you.

Well I executed terrible vengeance upon my celestial throne this morning. For which I blame a rare sojourn into the world of Magners cider last night.

Or possibly £8.5 million - I took the figure shown in the Sheffield United June 2011 accounts as other debtors due in more than 12 months to represent the final instalment or instalments.

Talking about the Sheffield United accounts, I had a quiet chuckle about the chairman's statement in the light of yesterday's result.

Kevin McCabe wrote
The 2010/11 financial year and football season was a wretched one for everybody connected with Sheffield United, culminating as it did with relegation to League One. Rather than wallow in self pity, we have used these experiences to reassess the whole way the Blades are run, and have taken some painful decisions from which we hope to emerge stronger and as a result more successful in the years ahead.

Our immediate target is promotion back to the Championship, and as I write this Statement the first team are well placed to maintain a strong challenge achieve this aim. Beyond that, the medium term objective remains to establish Sheffield United as a financially self-sufficient Premier League club, with a regular core of young players went around the successful 2011 FA Youth Cup Final Academy Squad

Seriously, Cornish. What do you expect? Should we just let the Millwall rivalry go because it all happened ages ago? Should we welcome NRC, Defoe and Ince back to the club and issue a full and frank apology for behaving like football fans for the last 20 years?

West Ham's whole standing in the footballing World has changed because of the nonsense that club dragged us through - an administrative error that they picked at and picked at until, were it not for the timely intervention of Messrs G and S we could well as seen ourselves going the same way as Portsmouth.

Fu#k em......fu#k em in the ear!
