I find muting the tele and putting on the dam busters theme tune much more evocative and dare I say it informative.

He is a massive weapon.

Did anyone else notice his sly slagging off of Walcott when he was brought on? (Living off his hat trick in Croatia etc) His poor attempt at backtracking as Walcott turned it on was embarrassing. You could almost hear him choking on the humble pie.......Knobhead!
I cant believe that such a drab person could ever have played football.

I loathe the way you can just hear him chuckling in the background when he believes he is off mic. Just like a naughty schoolboy at the back of the class. Makes me wanna smash his head against the side of a fridge....hard

I know how bad Lawro is but I would rather listen to him than Jim Beglin any day. Headbanger

However bad Lawro is, he was totally upstaged by the muppets in the studio at half-time, especially Hansen.

Even if England are 3-0 up the last thing you want is for gobby pundits to jinx it all by hyping up the performance and suggesting
a comfortable stroll in the 2nd half, when you know from experience that the opposite is more likely.
Only David James, pitch-side, called it right.

I have no idea why this pundit / analyser position exists, they all talk b*llocks and its enough just putting up with crap the commentators come out with, just jobs for the boys, jobs they all do woefully! :crest: TID

Anyone hear him say how cruel it would be if the 'West Ham reject' would score ?

Up yours Lawro.
