Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Casually asking one of my counterparts in the US (Georgia) if he, or any of his colleagues, have any guns, whilst thinking "I bet he doesn't and I'm just going to sound like a stupid Brit". His answer was along the lines of "You've got me on my specialist subject", and he sends me a load of pictures of his gun collection.

For "gun collection" read "arsenal that Arnie in Terminator 2 would have been pleased to find". At least 8 handguns, some with laser sights (for when you're in a bad neighbourhood!), and included a .50 Desert Eagle (great fun, but too big to be useful!), a load of shotguns ranging from "beautifully hand crafted" to "clearly designed to murder people", and some assault rifles that looked like something out of a video game.

Asked him about US gun law & turned out he was a proper yahoo who believes it's irresponsible for people not to carry guns on them everywhere they go.

All very strange, but entirely hilarious to listen to him rationalise the need for him to carry enough hardware to invade a large Eastern European nation.

Carlton Cole making the crossed hammers to all the fans just after battering Blackpool for 90 minutes. Legend.

p****'s
Scum of the earth. However, should you want **** shifted they are quite amazing. I put an old washing machine at the bottom of the drive. Went back in through the garage, closed up and hadn't even taken my shoes off when I heard a van door bang. Looked out the window and it's already gone. 2 minutes tops.

When you see a girl with a cracking arse, and she's wearing white thin cotton trousers, so you can see she's wearing the tiniest thong imaginable.
And then you see another one the next day :D

They go way back in history, so far back there has even been mention of them in the bible.

Spent the last weekend in a Hospice in Esher with a relative.

Just seeing the amazing nurses caring for the patients families gave me plenty to smile about.
