Re: Official Betting Thread
Four lads from my cricket team all done this bet, I am thinking of joining this year. Everyweek, on betfair, they each placed a fiver on Man united to win the league, whatever the odds. They ended up laying it off a couple of weeks before the season, when it looked like united could win it. They all made a tidy profit. Has anybody done anything like this before?

I think HHH will win, just to throw that out there! He'll be left in a state like the Cena fight - but HHH will win.Dyl wrote:WWE Summerslam Sunday night. Brock Lesnar to beat HHH @ 4/5 - Nailed on. I'm on it for £150, all I can really spare until pay day

How much would they have made if Man U had won the league though?twixy wrote:Four lads from my cricket team all done this bet, I am thinking of joining this year. I dont suppose the odds on Man Utd winning the league last season would have fluctuated all that much so they would have surely had to lay most of what they had already bet to make a profit?
Just trying to get my head round the logic here.
