Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I was well ok with Moyes coming in and coming back, but I never thought it would be this massive. Unbelievable what he's doing here.
I want to meet him, shake his hand and give him a massive bearhug. He's doing things I had totally given up on after over 40 years following.
It makes a difference to my life.

He's turned West Ham into a team I never thought we'd be - one that wins every single week, never stops fighting, is hard to score against and rarely loses.
We've now played 17 games this season in all comps, won 11 drawn 4 and only lost twice, narrowly at the end of the game both times.

You mean the Sallah dive?
I mean the way Creswell and Declan kept closing Sallah's option to cut left and shoot...
Brilliant execution.

Dive or not, Dec was rash in a dangerous area. Cresswell seemed to have that situation under control.IronHammer1 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 8:00 pm You mean the Sallah dive?

Salah didn't dive (for once), Rice made a rash challenge he didn't need to make.

He did dive as he always dives when a defender does that. Which is why Declan should have known better. Refs always buy it.

This lot deserve their own appreciation thread. What a team they've built.

Incredible isn’t it. If ( repeat if) they were all league that would be 37 out of 51 pointssendô wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 7:59 pm He's turned West Ham into a team I never thought we'd be - one that wins every single week, never stops fighting, is hard to score against and rarely loses.

I remember most of the Lyall and Greenwood eras ( I think) and beating the top teams was rare back then, as it is now. Our cup runs were simpler and the best teams in division 1 didn’t seem to have such long unbeaten runs during the 1964-1984 period as they do now. Bet somebody can easily check how many games the champions lost each year ?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
You've just reminded me that I actually passed Moyes walking through London once, probably just a few weeks after he lost the Man Utd job. He was taller than I expected, but his skin looked grey. He looked haunted.
Right now he looks about 20 years younger.

On the vanishingly small chance that a certain D Sullivan is made aware of the posts on this site....back the man in January! We're genuinely one of the best teams in the country. Get him over the line and double the value of your asset!!!
