A big well done to AP for this deal.

Thank you to all the Israeli guys for keeping us informed, especially Daniel.

Let's hope this is the start of something special.

I wonder if we can get this thread up to 100 pages now that we have signed Yossi :D

It's always gonna take something like this for someone who is in another Country to support an overseas team.

Like the Chinese geezer at Man City - they now have a massive Chinese broadcast which makes them a fortune.

So many links have already been posted, but whatever: http://skysports.planetfootball.com/lis ... remiership
I think it's obvious enough we (Israeli newcomers) all prefer (I won't say 'are fans for life of') West Ham because Benayoun signed here.
Hope he has a great time there, and don't rough him too bad in training, he has a game against Switzerland in september!

I won't believe it until the full story is on the o/s.

Then I won't believe it until the full story has photos.

Then I won't believe it until he runs out against Blackburn.

Even then, I probably won't believe it.

Get in there Alan Pardew!

Great signing

Who would have thought a newly promoted team would sign one of the worlds rising stars. Unbelievable.

Oh and thanks to our new found Israeli friends, especially Daniel :doff:

I have.
Watched almost every game of his on Racing Santander (and every latest game on the national team).
He has his 'gray' days and his magnificent days.
For instance, in the La Coruna VS Racing game this season: The first half ended with 1-0 for La Coruna, and Yossi was hardly noticed. The second half ended with Racing winning 4-1 with Benayoun scoring a hattrick (1-1, 1-2, 1-4).
He might sometimes be a bit unnoticed, but when he is in his good form - it's magic.
Maybe with the help of players like Teddy Sheringham and Reo-Cocker he might even be better (and for the whole match :) ).

I'm hoping this is a long contract, 4 years would be nice.
