Not at all comfortable with tonights game.
A draw would be ok methinks.
Blackburn and Everton are also very difficult games for us.
4 pts from these 3 would be useful as far as I'm concened.
We are nowhere near as good as people make out and this little period before and around Xmas will shape our season.

According to the Sky Sports Mobile (which I assume is a cut-down SSN feed) broadcast I watched - Pards is even apprehensive about this one, saying it's "not the right time to be playing them", f*** that, let's do them brummie arseholes and their bent-nosed muggy prick that defies belief ever fits the term 'manager'. Let's go for it. 2-0 Irons, I hope, and possibly the strongest away performance of the season.
COME ON YOU IRONS!!!
COME ON YOU IRONS!!!

I like the sound of that. The more we can get Yossi on the ball the better.one fine morning.... wrote:would anyone else play just one striker? play two holding players, giving Benayoun a free role behind Harewood. Noble's passing would also then get a bit more protection.

Totally agree with all that, particularly the highlighted bit.Adam 'The Smudge' wrote:Not at all comfortable with tonights game.

But we're still better than Ajax right now.

A bit concerned about tonight, Birmingham realise the importance of this game and I think the fans and players will be up for it.
I reckon Dailly will replace Noble to add a bit of experience to the side. Other than that I can't see many other changes being made. I would consider dropping teddy to the bench and letting Bobby have a run out.
Heart says 1-2 west Ham win. Head says 1-1 draw.

Re: B'ham v West Ham match thread
This fixture has a very special place in my heart, for it was November 1st 1975 that I witnessed my first Hammers match, at St Andrews. They scored first, Trevor Francis, I think, and we came back to batter 'em 5-1. I can't remember who scored all of our goals, but I think Alan Taylor got at least one with Sir Trev bagging another.Herts Iron wrote:Take it away.
Some would say that Birmingham have a better squad on paper...
However, Im going for 1-0 West Ham, Marlon to score.
As you will notice from the time of the post, I'm unable to make it this evening due to work commitments, but I'd settle for that result again !
