Re: KUMB.com August Player of the Month
Why are people voting for collins? I know he played well but he is a Villa player now and nothing to do with us.
Stanislas for me, 2 goals against Millwall deserve it

Carlton Cole for me.
Went to the Spurs game and he looked really good, everything stuck to him when punted upfield and he scored a hell of a goal. I was in the Bobby Moore Lower about 6 rows in and as it left his foot you could see it was going in. Sweet as a nut!

Collison played well and brave, without Cole we'd have got nothing but in terms of actual footballing performances, went for Faubert.

Re: KUMB.com August Player of the Month
Performance wise he has been way below the likes of Parker, Noble, Upson, Collins and many others in the team but for not hiding when things got tough for him my vote will go to Collison.
In terms of the actual best player of the month in our shirt, Noble.

Collison for me. The kid showed so much bottle playing so soon after losing his dad. Respect.

Stanislas has 3 times the votes that Noble has? That's it, this place is mental.

Jock Collingson for me Not for exclusively footballing reasons.
The people voting Faubert are daft, a few reasonable performances is all he's had.

Faubert gets it though because he proved me right!

Shirley it should be on football playing ability and while I respect young Jack for playing, that's nowt to do with PotM.
Ain't a popularity contest lads. Faubert's played well, last year doesn't count. Collins was playing for us when the games were played.
Don't understand it sometimes peeps..

Agree, 'Ouston. I have great admiration for Jack, but his performances in the first two games were a bit "subdued". The three who stood out for me during August were Carlton, Ginge and, yes, Flying Faubert

Between 3 for me
Faubert - For proving everybody wrong over the last month, has to keep it up though.
Junior - For two goals vs Millwall, keeping us in the competition.
Jack - For shear bravery, a great show of maturity, and commitment to the cause, despite all he's had to deal with in his personal life.

Re: KUMB.com August Player of the Month
Cole has started the season brightly, and has worked tirelessly.
Jack Collisons bravery in the wake of his fathers passing has been truly inspirational.
Junior Stanislas performance to beat Millwall was one to remember.
However for me, the consistencey and improvement that has made a real difference has been that of one ...
Monsieur Julien Faubert.
Who would have thought that this would be the case nine months ago?
It' ; jeu drôle de SA vieux.

Re: KUMB.com August Player of the Month
Collison for me. He might not have been the best player but for me over the past 2 games has typified the true spirit of West Ham United. He deserves every accolade he gets.
I couldn't have played under the circumstances. For sheer dogged determination and bravery, he gets my vote
