My Missus works with one of the original Hammerettes(Hayley), she reckons they have an interview and presentation tomorrow or thursday to see about coming back. They are up against another group, who muscled out the original girls, but then had their contract torn up by The Icelandics. Hayley(member since 3 years of age) and her group of originals are all life long Hammers fans, and are desperate to get back out there dancing for us. The other group in for it are run by some dude who was the reason the original girls went their own way, apparently he was a bit of a Hitler.
This guy is no Hammer fan, just a businessman and his girls won't just be Hammerettes, they'll be doing rugby games and any old sports event that he can get booked. So if he gets the work, we may not even have any Hammerettes, as there could be a conflict of commitments.
