Congratulations to our academy, first beating Spurs 4-3 and today thumping Manchester United 6-0. :scarfer:

They are doing great for the moment in PL2 (U23's).
Maybe we could see some youngsters in the Europa League if we are qualified before the last game.

Take your pick from Ashby, Baptiste, Chesters or Perkins.

Ashby and Baptiste may struggle due to the depth ahead of themselves in their position.

I quite like Longelo, but he appears to be nowhere near the 1st team despite our lack of depth/options at left back. I'm not sure Okoflex works hard enough without the ball for Mr Moyes.

Agree with the above. I could also see Ekwah being involved at some point. He has started well

I want to mention the efl trophy win the other night. I see the lads enjoyed the experience and got a lot from it.

Playing against seasoned pro's really helps development in my opinion rather than just players your own age.

A few years back I seen us lose 4 -0 to yeovil but a certain Ben Johnson didn't do too bad in the end.

My stepson who is 17 was still playing under 18s last year but is now playing top end Saturday football as a defender and doing very well. So much so that he was asked to be sub two weeks ago for a Western League side and trained with them since .

He is still playing for the senior team too against players that have been there and done that. He's improved so quickly.

I think our future is bright with our academy I really do.

17, comes from Hackney, pinched off Orient a few years back, seems to score plenty in age groups above his own, supposed to be a midfielder but has some versatility and has scored a hattrick for England in a development game.

Also has a great left foot so could be a natural back up for Bowen/Yarmolenko replacement. Though, he's still an Under 18 so plenty of time for him.
