The problem for Celtic is they simply won't spend the money for 3 games in the CL, and their domestic competition offers little in the way of reward.
Not too sure of the exact numbers but I reckon the team that finishes bottom in the PL gets more than the entire SPL combined each year.
TV deal is £30m a year for the Scottish league. Plus a prize pool of £25m per year (spread across the leagues). Bottom team in the premier league, Sheffield United, got £91m last year so nearly double!
I'm pleased we're playing well but it's pre-season friendlies. I won't be getting carried away just yet (and I wouldn't be be feeling too fed up if we'd lost, for the same reason).

No negativity here, We play Celtic away who play their best team in preparation for an upcoming European game and we, without Rice, Coufal and Soucek, thrash them..A bit wobbly at the back at times but plenty of positives, Antonio! Benhrama!

Think he was swapped out at halftime? Second half keeping was atrocious. At times in the first half his defenders simply let him down.
can we not sell randolph to celtic for 2m he would be better than the rubbish keeper they have ?
winning becomes a habit , keep the wins coming and no more injuries !
so far reid and ogbonna are injured in an area we are already short. however reid wont ever play for us again as not up to it. shame but we need to get rid somehow but on 80k a week that will be near impossible. maybe we can pay half his wages to help sell him.
