Chelsea will be the bookie's favourites to win the EPL next season but a lot could change over the summer.
The top six teams will all be heavily investing over the summer and the picture could look a lot different before kick off. A lot will not only depend on who they bring in but also if they are able to keep hold of their star players.
If the Blues can keep the title-winning team together and add a few new faces over the summer they are going to be difficult to stop from retaining the title. They still have a lot to prove after the disaster campaign they had after they won it last. If they can keep hold of Costa and Hazard during the transfer window, they are sure to be in contention next campaign.
Spurs keep on getting closer to winning their first EPL title in over 50 years under Mauricio Pochettino. He has done a fantastic job on a small budget. If they can hold onto their core group of players and get a suitable backup sticker to Harry Kane they are in with a great chance.
A lot was expected when Pep Guardiola arrived last summer and things did not go as expected. With a full season under his belt, he will now know what is required to win the EPL. If they have a great transfer window they could well be the favorites before the season kicks off.
This is the season that Klopp must deliver, he has had the time to create his squad and no excuses can be made next season. Liverpool loses too many points against the bottom teams and the manager will need to bring in players that can alter this record. They will also have to keep hold of star players such as Coutinho if they are going to progress.
The Gunners may have won the FA Cup but they had very little else to cheer about. You get the feeling that it is a defining summer for Arsenal and if they get any discussion wrong it could spell disaster. It looks like Sanchez is leaving which will greatly damage their chances and will be an underdog going into the new season.
The Red Devils managed to qualify for the Champions League through the back door and the European Cup final was a defining game. They managed to pass that test which sets them up to have a great campaign next season. They are going to be busy in the summer and if they manage to buy a couple of world-class stars they are in which a good chance.
It is extremely likely that one of the teams above will be crowned Premier League Champions next season. My money's on Spurs as they are the team that has consistently improved each campaign and were unlucky not to win it last time around.
