by Staff Writer

West Ham United returned to winning ways this afternoon with a comprehensive victory against Burnley in Stratford.

Felipe Anderson and Grady Diangana were the outstanding performers as the Hammers burshed aside the Clarets, albeit by having to reply on two late goals after the visitors twice cancelled out West Ham's lead.

Player Ratings

Lucasz Fabianski
Had very little to do bar pick the ball out of his net on two occasions.

Pablo Zabaleta
Exceptional performance and very close to taking the MotM award for a display full of heart and energy.

Aaron Cresswell
A decent effort from the occasional England full back.

Issa Diop
Another good performance at the heart of the defence, although he switched off momentarily for Burnley's opener.

Fabian Balbuena
Solid and assured, as he's proving to be nearly every week.

Declan Rice
Maturing with every week - but still without a new contract.

Pedro Obiang
A welcome return for the Spaniard who kept things ticking over nicely.

Felipe Anderson
The performance we've been awaiting. Two goals (he could've had four) and a willingness to attack the full back. A ??40m performance.

Robert Snodgrass
Worked hard as he is wat to do, although not a great deal of end product.

Grady Diangana
A fantastic performance from the youngster - props to Manuel Pellegrini who should be congratulated for taking a gamble on an Academy prospect.

Marko Arnautovic
Hustled and bustled and got West Ham off to great start with his fifth goal of the season.

Substitutes

Javier Hernandez
(Replaced Obiang) Looked interested for a change and got his reward with a finely taken goal.

Angelo Ogbonna
(Replaced Arnautovic) Sent on to shore up the defence at 3-2 - and barely had to become involved.

Michail Antonio
(Replaced Diangana) Only on the field for a matter of minutes but had a major role in West Ham's final goal.

Adrian San Miguel del Castillo
Did not play.

Ryan Fredericks
Did not play.

Arthur Masuaku
Did not play.

Lucas Perez
Did not play.
