Capped three times by Brazil, the striker has maintained a one-in-three strike rate throughout his career that began with local club Parana in 1999.

Not really on long enough to suggest whether he in the “fox in the box” West Ham have been missing since Bellamy, or arguably even Defoe, but seemed to have a natural striker’s positional sense which bodes well.
