West Ham look set to sign a third Wimbledon player inside a week with the capture of winger Jobi McAnuff, KUMB has learned.

McAnuff - 22 last November - is currently thought to be discussing terms with the Hammers, who today sold Jermain Defoe to Tottenham in exchange for £7m plus striker Bobby Zamora.

The young midfielder joined the Dons as a trainee, signing professional terms in 2001 as a 19-year-old. Thus far this season he has made 30 appearances for Wimbledon, scoring 5 times in the process - the most recent goal being a scorcher at Crystal Palace last weekend.

* Alan Pardew's 'revolution' has seen SEVEN players introduced to the first-team squad in the last fortnight (or 8 if you include full-back Anthony Barness, who was a West Ham player for less than 24 hours before being recalled from his month-long loan spell by Bolton); they are:

Anthony Barness; Rami Shabaan (loan); Nigel Reo-Coker; Adam Nowland; Andy Melville; Jon Harley (loan); Sebastien Carole (loan); Bobby Zamora

Going the other way are:

David James (Manchester City); Ian Pearce (Fulham); Jermain Defoe (Tottenham)
