Michael Dawson is reported to have turned down a loan move to West Ham.
The new Tottenham signing is thought to have rejected the opportunity to join West Ham on loan for the remainder of the season in order to fight for a place in the first team at his new club, who he joined during last month's transfer window.Alan Pardew claimed last night that he had not made a move for the England under-21, telling reporters:
"I like him but I can’t have him."
However reports emanating from Tottenham this afternoon claim that Dawson WAS offered the chance to move across the City - but he rejected the switch in order to concentrate on his career with Tottenham.
