West Ham youngster Chris Cohen is to join Bournemouth on a year long loan.
The 18-year-old will be following in the footsteps of Rio Ferdinand and Jermain Defoe, who also had spells on loan with the Cherries earlier in their careers.Cohen will be hoping the prospect of regular first team football will revitalise his game.
The versatile teenager made a promising impression in his initial appearances for the club, but found himself left on the sidelines for much of the later part of last season as the Hammers battled their way to promotion.
His most significant mark on the season was a red card in the home game against Burnley.
