Several West Ham players currently out on loan featured in yesterday's Football League programme.

Moses Ashikodi (pictured above) - currently on loan with League One side Gillingham - received his marching orders for a second bookable offence 16 minutes from time.

Ashikodi - already on a yellow after being harshly booked for an attempted overhead kick which caught Yeovil's Darren Way in the face - saw red after a late tackle on Terry Skiverton; the game finished 0-0.

Carl Fletcher was an unused substitute as Watford lost 2-1 at home to Leicester. It was the second game in succession that the former Bournemouth man had failed to be involved after spending 90 minutes on the bench in Watford's previous game, a 0-0 home draw with Leeds United.

Steve Bywater - who is midway through a six-month spell with Championship outfit Coventry City - had a bad day at the office as his side went down 4-1 at home to Crystal Palace. However there was little that Bywater could have done about any of the four goals.

Luke Chadwick set up Stoke's goal in their 2-1 defeat at Derby; playing on the right flank the former Manchester United man's cross was converted by rumoured Hammers target Carl Hoefkens. Chadwick had a good game overall and was replaced nine minutes from time by fellow loanee Martin Kolar.

Australian full-back Trent McClenahan - who recently signed a new deal with the Hammers - didn't feature for MK Dons as they drew 0-0 with Chesterfield in League One. Also out of action were Petr Mikolanda whose Northampton side beat Oxford 1-0 on Friday night in their League Two fixture, and Darren Blewitt who was an unused substitute for Hereford United who beat Burton 2-0 yesterday in the Football Conference.

Finally, Sekou Baradji has been named in Reading's squad for this afternoon's clash against Ipswich. The game is being broadcast live by Sky Sports.
