Carl Fletcher has returned to West Ham after completing his loan spell at Watford.

Fletcher returned to East London following Watford's 2-1 home defeat against Leicester on Saturday. It was the second game in a row that he had failed to emerge from the bench, having started as a substitute.

The 25-year-old midfielder made three appearances during his loan spell with the Championship outfit and returns to West Ham having yet to make an appearance for the club in 05/06.

The former Bournemouth captain was brought to Upton Park by Alan Pardew in August 2004.
