Clive Clarke has been handed his first Premiership start for tonight's visit to Highbury.

The former Stoke man - who joined the Hammers in the summer from Stoke - is drafted in at right-back to replace Christian Dailly, who is suspended after collecting five yellow cards.

New signing Dean Ashton has to be content with a place on the bench, whilst Lionel Scaloni is unable to play due to not having registered in time.

Arsenal are missing several players and are forced to play centre-half Philip Senderos at left-back. Unfortunately for the Hammers, Thierry Henry has been declared fit to pay.

More to follow at half-time.

West Ham United: Hislop; Konchesky, Clarke, Ferdinand, Gabbidon; Mullins, Reo-Coker, Etherington, Benayoun; Harewood, Zamora.

Substitutes: Bywater, Fletcher, Newton, Sheringham, Ashton.
