West Ham United v Sheffield United: half-time report

West Ham lead 1-0 at the break in this afternoon's Premiership encounter courtesy of Hayden Mullins' second goal of the season.

Mullins rose to head home a Matty Etherington corner on 34 minutes to send United into a half-time lead which they thoroughly deserved.

Despite lacking an end product for much of the half Alan Pardew's side gave a good account of themselves in front of new Chairman Eggert Magnusson, who was presented to the crowd before kick-off.

However United created plenty of chances throughout the half, and better finishing might have seen the Hammers into the break with a greater advantage.

We'll have more for you at the final whistle.
