A Marathon effort

Filed: Wednesday, 4th April 2007
By: Matthew O'Greel

The latest from KUMB's Colin Wells as he continues his preparations for this month's London Marathon.

I completed a 16 mile road race in Kingston upon Thames this sunday morning - starting at 8.25 am - when most of you were in bed, having breakfast, reading the papers or doing something more sensible.

The 16 mile run was part of my training for the Flora London Marathon 2007 on Sunday 22/04/2007 to raise money for Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. I would really welcome your support.

Please take a moment to sponsor online. It's really easy - you can donate online by credit or debit card at http://www.justgiving.com/colinwells2007.

All donations are secure and sent electronically to Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving will automatically reclaim 28% Gift Aid on your behalf, so your donation is worth even more.

Thanks and best wishes,
Colin Wells & the Bobby Moore Cancer Research team
